    Skin Substitute Grafting

Advanced Wound Healing Options, Delivered Safely in Your Home

Some wounds need more than traditional dressings to heal. When chronic or complex wounds fail to progress, cellular tissue products (CTPs) — often called "skin substitutes" — can provide the biologic support needed to restart the healing process.

We offer carefully selected, evidence-based CTP therapies delivered directly in the home, providing patients access to hospital-level advanced treatment without the stress of travel.

    What Are Cellular Tissue Products?

Advanced biologic materials designed to support wound closure. These products:

    • Provide a scaffold for new tissue growth
    • Protect the wound environment
    • Support healing in chronic or stalled wounds
    • Reduce burden on fragile skin

    When Are CTPs Appropriate?

CTPs are considered when a wound:

    • Has not improved despite consistent care
    • Is stalled or non-healing
    • Is deep or complex
    • Has exposed structures
    • Is related to diabetes or circulatory issues
    • Requires biologic support to progress

Wounds That May Benefit From CTP Therapy

    Diabetic foot ulcers
    Venous or lymphedema ulcers
    Pressure injuries (certain stages)
    Post-surgical wounds
    Traumatic or complex wounds
    Chronic non-healing wounds

Your provider will thoroughly evaluate whether an advanced biologic therapy is right for you.

What to Expect With In-Home CTP Treatment

    1

    Comprehensive Assessment

Circulation and vascular status, healing trajectory, wound depth/size/tissue quality, infection risk, necrosis, nutritional factors, pressure/shear/edema patterns. CTPs are never the first step — they're part of a thoughtful, staged approach.

    2

    Preparing the Wound Bed

Debridement and optimization of the wound before advanced therapy. A wound must be ready to accept advanced therapy.

    3

Application of the Cellular Tissue Product

Sterile technique application, secure the graft with appropriate dressing, protect from moisture or pressure, and provide instructions for wound care between visits.

    4

    Follow-Up & Monitoring

Regular home visits with measurement and documentation, assessment of graft integration, skin health checks, and adjustment of dressings and support strategies.
